What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you. Cookies “remember” your actions or preferences for a limited period. Depending on the type cookies, cookies will:

  • Be stored temporarily in your browser's memory, and destroyed when it is closed down, (“Session Cookies”)
  • Be saved on your computer so that when you shut it down and start it up again, the cookies will remain (“Persistent Cookies”). The Persistent Cookies are created by giving them a limited lifespan, provided for each cookie in the tables below.

We use internal cookies, allowing us to maintain information like your language choices or your connection information. These cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies, which are cookies placed on our websites by entities other than Sanofi. These third-party cookies allow other organizations to help us to analyze how our site is being used, measure the number of visitors to the site, and display advertising.

Cookies will be stored on your device, unless you opt-out of the use of cookies by clicking on Cookie Settings link below.
